When should we think to choose to improve with you?

Generally, when you have goals you’re unable to achieve and you’re struggling to make decisions to help you make your goals (we’ll help you make decisions and take action).

When you need to change and make decisions amidst uncertainty.

We have done offsites, team trainings, and other training sessions with self-proclaimed “shy/introverted/quiet” people and they love it and learn from it! Improv seems fun, but will it actually help us improve our business?

YES! Improv is fun, and it will help improve your business. It’s like we’re giving you M&Ms packed full of vitamins. It tastes good AND it’s good for you! There has been research done on the benefits of improv for teams, companies, and mental health and wellness. We’ve seen and experienced the benefits first hand. Our work combines elements of improv with powerful behavioral science, neuroscience, performance techniques, and research-backed methods to improve communication, resiliency, ability to adapt, self-awareness, collaboration, listening skills, wellness, and more. In doing this we’re applying an action-based way to learn and grow, so that it’s effective and lasting.

Why Improve?

Our methods are designed specifically to improve peoples’ lives, leadership, and teams. It’s why we’re called “Improve” after all — it’s improv plus an “e” for effectiveness. We take improv, combined with a bunch of other research, and get improvements.

Our leadership and team trainings are designed for leaders and teams in dynamic, fast-paced business environments. Our methods were created by longtime entrepreneur, investor and businessperson (Mary :) who over a decade has created unique ways to combine improv exercises and principles to address critical leadership and team challenges she experienced and encountered firsthand. It’s a bit different than hiring a professional improv comedian or actor to help your team. They could be totally great! The value we bring is that we have been in the business world and very deeply understand the uniqueness and intricacies of working in that environment, and then use improv exercises and techniques, combined with leadership and team frameworks, and supported by research to improve whatever the challenge.

Our wellness program is designed with mental health improvements in mind. We’ve combined improv and improv-inspired techniques with behavioral science, neuroscience, mindfulness practices, to create real lasting change in people’s lives. Our wellness program is designed to improve joy, connection, communication, creativity, self-awareness, and reduce feelings of loneliness, anxiety, fear. Improve founder, Mary, experienced extreme anxiety to the point of fainting and panic attacks before practicing what is now part of Improve Wellness. Like Mary, people can improve their lives while smiling :)
